The websites below provide free additional assistance for students in the areas of basic mathematics, algebra, geometry, trigonometry and calculus.

INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOS

Khan Academy – Offers a variety of instructional videos for math courses at all levels. You can scroll down the page through the different topic areas or do a search by topic.

Math TV – Students may select the instructor for the video as well as the problem to be solved.

Online Math Learning – Students can view the problems to be solved before choosing the instructional video.

Math √ids – Additional instructional videos are available on this site.

Just Math Tutoring – the majority of the videos on this site are more applicable to the Grade 11 and 12 courses.

EXPLANATIONS & EXAMPLES

Hippo Campus – This website provides explanations to high school topics. In addition, it also offers interactive worksheets with complete solutions to the problems.

S.O.S. Math – This website includes written explanations.

PRACTICE WORKSHEETS

Online Math Learning – This site offers interactive worksheets. The high school topics begin at Algebra Worksheets, which is located approximately 3/4 down the page.

Kuta Software – Answers to the worksheets are provided.

Ed Helper – Answers are not provided for these worksheets. Students will need to scroll down the page to the heading Exponents Worksheets, to begin to find appropriate worksheets.
